When pianist/multi-instrumentalist Tim Bolton and I first collaborated in 2021, we found we shared a musical vision. As a duo, Chartreuse explores a diverse and improvisational landscape, bridging music from around the globe and from many ages – reshaped melodies, unexpected harmonies, French and Portuguese lyrics…blended traditions that transport the listener to a world that feels intriguing yet timeless.
