When pianist/multi-instrumentalist Tim Bolton and I first collaborated in 2021, we found we shared a musical vision. As a duo, Chartreuse explores a diverse and improvisational landscape, bridging music from around the globe and from many ages – familiar melodies are reshaped, harmonies unfold unexpectedly, and traditions are blended, transporting listeners to a world that feels intriguing yet timeless.
