The ways we work

Courageous. This word often accompanies “going out on your own.” I’m not sure if it’s a compliment or like a human seeing an alien for the first time.

Creative work can look different from the outside.

Dissecting the word courageous reveals its two opposing parts.

1. Not deterred by danger or pain.

2. Brave

The first part seems to nod at stupidity. The second part, to honor.

Does going out on your own feel fearless, honorable, or maybe both? How do people see your way of working?
